‘At the outset of 2025 we decided to change room arrangements a bit. Rather than rooms with shared bathroom, we are now offering one room with private bath.
I have absolutely loved meeting a most interesting clientele, some of which have returned and friendships have developed. Our home on the Castalia Bank features beautiful sunrises and an unencumbered view of Long Island Bay. To this day it is a therapeutic experience to hear and smell the tide as she comes and goes each day.
Some have said there are 4 segments to a Grand Manan day. Low tide, high tide, low tide and high tide. Our community lives by the ebb and flow of the Bay of Fundy. And there is a soothing pace that sweeps over the wearied heart, for those who can make the adjustment from an otherwise harried experience of life.
